I’m Carol, founder of Flipping Fabulous, a coaching space for seniors who want companionship, connection, and joy in later years.

I’ve lived a full life. I’m a widow, a mother, a retired professional woman, and someone who had to learn dating again after decades of marriage. I know what loneliness feels like, the confusion that can come with it, and the mix of nerves and excitement that comes with starting over.

My own experience is what led me to support others over 65 in building confidence, clarity, and safety in today’s online dating world.

A Lifetime of Experience. A New Chapter of Love.

For 48 years, my identity was simple in the best way: I was a wife to the man I loved. We built a life, raised a family, and shared a language only we understood. Alongside that, I had a 40-year career as a Senior Manager in Health Care Fraud. I worked deep in investigations, uncovering deception and protecting vulnerable people. I also worked as an auditor, trained to assess details, spot risks, and recommend improvements. My job was noticing what others often missed. Looking back, it prepared me for coaching more than I realized.

Then life changed…

When I became a widow, I stepped into a world that felt unfamiliar. Dating had moved from dinners and introductions through friends to apps, screens, and constant uncertainty. Like many women my age, I ran into ageism and the real fear of being misled or scammed. I also faced a question many of us ask quietly: is there still space for love after a long and meaningful first chapter?

Over time, I realized my 80 years of living had given me something valuable: a different way of seeing people and situations.

I brought together the careful observation I used in my career with what I learned through decades of marriage. I went through the learning curve of modern dating myself—some good experiences, some painful, some simply wrong turns—until I found a steadier path toward real connection.

I created Flipping Fabulous because no one should have to figure this out alone or in fear.

At 81, I’m a later dater who believes life after 65 doesn’t shrink; it opens up in new ways. Through my Six Foundational Pillars, I help you avoid scams, quiet self-doubt, and look for relationships that fit who you are now.
