I’ve lived a full life: I’m a widow, mother, retired professional woman, and someone who had to learn dating all over again after decades of marriage. I know the loneliness, the confusion, and the excitement of rediscovering who you are when life changes.

A Lifetime of Experience. A New Chapter of Love.
For 48 years, my identity was beautifully simple: I was a wife to the man I loved. We built a life, a family, and a half-century of shared shorthand. But in my professional life, I was someone else entirely. For 40 years, I served as a Senior Manager of Health Care Fraud, deep in the trenches of uncovering deceptions and protecting the vulnerable. My career also encompasses the role of an auditor, where I was trained to notice objective assessment and evaluate processes to make recommendations for improvements. I spent my days spotting the “red flags” that others might have missed. I have been groomed for the coaching.
Then, life flipped.
When I became a widow, I found myself in a world I didn’t recognize. The dating landscape had shifted from dinner parties and mutual friends to a digital wilderness of apps, screens, and “catfishing.” Like many women my age, I felt the sting of ageism and the very real fear of being scammed. I felt the weight of a question many of us face: Is there room for a second act after a legendary first one?
I realized that my 80 years of life hadn’t just given me memories, they had given me a Superpower.
I decided to combine the investigative precision of my career with the deep emotional wisdom of my marriage. I navigated the trials, the errors, and the “wrong” decisions of modern dating until I found a path to authentic, joyful connection.
